The Blind Boys had the distinct honor of not only being nominated again for the Grammy Awards, but also seeing one of our favorite artists, William Bell, at the Grammys as well. (William, with his first major album release in 40 years, won the award for Best Americana Album for This is Where I Live!) While the Blind Boys didn't win this year, they said it was an honor to be nominated for their work on God Don't Never Change: The Songs of Blind Willie Johnson, working alongside such luminaries as Tom Waits, Lucinda Williams, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, among many others! Stay tuned, we have some exciting upcoming announcements from the Blind Boys of Alabama!
